We’ve built our business on the principal of re-use. Sustainability is in our DNA, & our partnerships are how we bring it to life.
Packaging Recyclers began over 40 years ago. With it’s origins in the 1980’s with the collection of used cartons in a car & trailer, to sell for reuse to local businesses. Formally registered as Packaging Recyclers in 1992, the company has continued to grow, extending into a large multi Warehouse operation, expanding to new packaging & our fleet of vehicles which service our customers across Auckland, & the wider Waikato & Hamilton.
We have continually responded to our customers needs by providing a wide range of new packaging, eco friendly packaging options, & cost effective packaging solutions
Our Cardboard Recycling service is unique in prioritising re-use over recycling, & is trusted by major NZ companies.
Part of the Beautification Trust
Packaging Recyclers is proud to be part of the Beautification Trust, a South Auckland-based social enterprise on a mission to connect and empower communities to learn, love and look after our environment.
By joining the Trust in 2025, we became part of a broader kaupapa dedicated to zero waste, environmental education and community wellbeing. Every reused box and shredded document now plays a role in something bigger; helping to support practical environmental action across Aotearoa.
As a social enterprise, our profits are reinvested into community and environmental programmes that restore te taiao and uplift people.

Our Document Destruction team are licensed by the Private Security Personnel Licensing Authority as Confidential Document Destruction Agents under the Private Security Personnel & Private Investigators Act 2010.
